Southern Pacific's GE C44-9W's that were bought in 1994 weren't on the property for very long on the former Rio Grande Mainline in 1995 just before SP got their AC4400's. I was lucky enough to get three matched GE C44-9W's on the GVTCC (Geneva Steel-Terror Creek.CO). The trio will take the train to the Terror Creek Mine located on the North Fork Branch south of Grand Junction. |
